Meet the Boardmembers!

Russell Toler

Russell Toler lives on the Eastside with his wife, two kids, and lots of bikes. He works as a planner by day, and has served on the Planning Commission since 2021.

Jenn Tanaka

Jenn Tanaka grew up in the South, got educated in the Midwest, cut her teeth as a lawyer in New York City and now has settled down with her husband, two kids and a boston terrier on the Eastside. When she’s not lawyering she’s nerding out on her blog, the Goat Hill Rodeo.

David Martinez

David Martinez lives on the Westside and attended Costa Mesa High School and the University of Southern California. He previously served on the Active Transportation Committee for two and a half years.

Ralph Taboada

Ralph Taboada is a long time Costa Mesa resident and an active participant in the city’s resident committees. He is currently a member of the Finance and Pension Advisory Committee and Chair of the Active Transportation Committee. When he isn’t volunteering he can be found touring the US on his road bike.

Flo Martin

Flo Martin lives in College Park. A Costa Mesan since 1967. Member of the Active Transportation Committee since 2016. Former tandem-cyclist and currently a long-distance pedestrian.

Mike Lingle

Mike Lingle is a lifelong resident of Newport Beach and Costa Mesa, and has lived on the Eastside with his wife since 1996. He retired in 2012 after a 35 year career in the aerospace industry. At Someone Cares Soup kitchen where he volunteers, he is also known as “Mr. Wednesday”.

Marc Vukcevich

Marc Vukcevich is a Costa Mesa resident and advocate for better transportation and land use policies. He is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara and works as the state policy director for Streets For All.
